During the 2017 Read-a-thon PS10 Students read 451,849 minutes!

We are immensely proud of all the students that participated and helped to raise $30,067.87 for our school ($3000 more than last year!)

We are also giving prizes to the student in each grade that raised the most money for the Read-a-thon. Each of these students received a gift certificate to the  UA Court Square Theater and some great books autographed by the author!

The classes that read the most minutes will receive a book making workshop from Stories Bookshop and Storytelling Lab and books for their class library!

We also have prizes for the student in each grade that read the most minutes. Thank you to Terrace Books  in Windsor Terrace (242 Prospect Park West) for generously donating gift certificates to our winners (for the THIRD year in a row!).

Everyone who turned in a reading log gets a pencil case and pencil in recognition of their participation.

Thank you EVERYONE for participating and making this Read-a-thon such a huge success!  PS10 students did a tremendous job we’re really proud of all of you!!!!

A very special thanks to our amazing committee who made it all happen!

Gratefully yours,

Lili Velez and Shaila Rao
