Welcome to the PS 10 Library!

Our library is special.  The Robin Hood Foundation that created our library lives on through our amazing space, number and scope of books, and computers. Our library helps students and teachers uphold the curriculum in each grade.  The space encourages recreational reading and is terrific for studying.  Our collection includes fiction, non-fiction, biography, reference, and videos.  We are proud of the multicultural offerings at our school, and we have books in several languages.  Every class has a scheduled period in the library.  The library is open to parents and the school community every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-4pm.

The Library serves the entire P.S. 10 community with the primary goals of providing materials that contribute to the curriculum, and encouraging outside reading. All students are taught library skills appropriate to their ages. During regularly scheduled class visits, students have the opportunity to share and select books for home reading.

Library computers are networked and connected to the Internet. DVDs and other media are also integrated into the Library’s collections. The Library is a venue for guest authors whose books tie in with the curriculum.
